Not terribly fast on the freeway, but quick off the mark and very direct steering and firm ride made my baby MG a dream to drive on tight twisty raods like Chapmans Peak. Because it was so small you didn't need a wide road to overtake (like Chappies).It had the same 1275cc Twin Carb engine found in the Mini Cooper S and my Midget also had a freeflow exhaust. With the hood down you could really hear it. :)

love it have had it since i was eighteen always enjoyed driving it. Will pass it on one day to my son hope he has as much fun as i have all these years as long as petrol lasts out
