Used 1971 Opel Manta for Sale near Tipton, TN

One of the early 'skinny bumper' Manta's in Red. Original even down to the solex carb, and runs great.

It´s not playable now :-) It´s a rusty project that I´v owned over 14 years. I´ll used it about 10 years and now it waits to be rebuild. +260hp +220km/h + it´s a Manta Originally it was S model with 1600cc engine. Nowdays it has 6 cylinders and lots of special parts waiting.

If you like old cars, you'll love this one. It's not american, so it's not huge V8. In this car is 2.0 liter engine from '80 opel rekord with 100hp and original 4-speed gearbox with open diff. It weighs 900kg, so it's easy to drive with predictable handling. No A/C, power steering, headrests, no seatbelts (!!)...

Economical, and for it's day, respectable horsepower from a four-cylinder - about 105, if I remember right. My Opel had the rallye package, and the flat-black hood - supposed to cut the glare in the driver's eyes! Very cool! I would recommend it, even today.
