These cars float down the road like you are sitting on your couch. They can pass a truck with little or no effort and look good doing it at the same time doing it. These cars were quite reasonably priced when new. Prices on these collector cars are quite reasonable today and affordable by most anyone too compared to other muscle cars or collector cars of that era. with prices going from $750 for a driver needing work to $12,000 for a 100 point showcar. average price is around $2500 for a car you can drive to work year-round and showoff on the weekend or at cruise nights during the summer months.

Built like a tank. Lived in the north and drove on some pretty ugly roads.

Drives like a cadillac, biggest galaxie they ever built. Mine has a 302 v8 in it, which has an unusual amount of kick for a smallblock. It's an extremely attractive car, with cragar rims and LOUD dual glasspack exhaust, restored by myself and my dad. It also has reapholstered front seats and a new black vinyl top. It runs very well mechanically, I did a lot of engine work, including a valve job, re-coreing the radiator, replacing the water pump, the hoses and belts, replacing the carburetor, the solenoid, the fuel pump, new spark plugs, new points, new rotor cap and rotor, the list goes on . . . but it was fun and totally worth it. love to turn wrenches on this car.
