Performance: great for the era, will still perform today also Quality: great for a 40 year old car, no problems yet Appearance: gets thumbs up wherever it goes cost of ownership: surprisingly good fuel economy, parts are on the cheap side for a 40 year old car Fun factor: great to drive and the motor sounds awesome.

Bought this car the day I turned 39 years old. It is a 1968 bright red Mustang convertible. Power top, but no no power brakes or A/C. I love cruising the 101 and PCH with the top down listening to the Beach Boys!

Well I don't exactly drive it, but I do own one. It is in pieces waiting on a restoration. And when I say pieces I mean my engine is wrapped in shrink wrap still from the machine shop and sitting underneath a desk in my den, my seats are also in the den. But when I did drive it, it was fantastic. When I die, I hope they prop me behind the steering wheel and bury me in the ground in it. Hopefully one day I will be able to give you a full review on how this car is when its back on the road
