-Originally six cylinder engine w/ 2 speed automatic. -Swapped in 302 V8 with Automatic Overdrive Transmission (4 speed) -Changed to front drum brakes to disc brakes -repaired body and changed colour from silver to Ford Performance Red -New wheels and tires -refinished interior -changed rear axle -lowered front end -many other modifications

I was looking for a Falcon but found this Comet on the internet. Flew to Chicago and drove it home. Its been a great car ever since. You don't see many Comets and even fewer convertibles. The color combination is really eye catching with the white interior. Makes you more friends than a new puppy!

Love vintage automobiles , a plane a simple pleasure to Owen and drive. Takes you back to simple times. Very dependable. Fun to drive. Can be purchased for a reasonable investment. Great styling and quality for fifty year old car. Mercury comets are great!

Styling and vintage look and feel are fresh air !!! Great daily driver. We have two mercury comets a and our entire family loves them. Good dependable way to have a antique car ! Would like to find a station wagon for my wife. Lots of fun to own.
