Mike at American Auto Sales did a virtual inspection and drive for me and was very open and honest about the vehicle. I put a small deposit down and then changed my mind about buying the vehicle. He returned my deposit promptly. When I do buy my next vehicle I will buy from American Auto Sales even though I live in Vermont. It will be worth the drive.

Too many emails, texts, calls. Dealer would not negotiate on price. Poor listening skills from the sales consultant. Even after clearly not making a deal and clearly explaining the reasons why the clueless sales consultant followed up with a phone message asking me how my experience was. Methinks this sales consultant needs to learn effective face to face and phone communication skills in a customer-oriented business. Not surprised though as many dealerships have a hard time “closing the deal” with well-educated well-researched consumers.

The truck pictured was not the one on the lot - when I questioned them they answered "that was a stock photo off the internet." So, I wasted three hours of travel to see a truck that was not what I was looking for.

Great experience. Dealt directly with the owner, an honest straight shooter. I was looking for a vehicle for a friend, they bought the vehicle and are very happy with both the vehicle and the dealership.

Justin was a great help. I literally told him the car I was interested in told him I don't want no BS surprise fees and honestly between getting there seeing the car and test driving it I was in and out of there with the car in less then an hour.
