Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. ​I was prepared to pay cash ($30k+) for a used vehicle, but this dealership lacked transparency. The initial quote added a $3k hidden appearance package and $1k fee, which were only removed after I pushed back. ​My wife and I signed paperwork listing 8,570 miles. Before wiring payment, I asked to verify the odometer. I was then told the actual mileage was 9,784—1,200+ miles higher because the prior owner kept driving it. ​When I asked for corrected paperwork and a moment to consider, they pressured me to hurry. Before I could even respond, they sold the vehicle to a coworker. ​Treating serious buyers who already signed paperwork this way is astonishing. The issue wasn't just the mileage discrepancy—it was the inaccurate documents, pressure tactics, and complete lack of integrity. ​Verify every fee and odometer yourself. I would not trust this dealership.

I just bought a car from Russell at AK Motors this weekend. I was very pleased with the overall experience. I drove nearly 3 hrs to get there, so I asked him to please give me an honest assessment of the vehicle before I drove all that way. When I got there, the car was pretty much as he described it. It was in good overall condition and he was a no pressure sales person. He put a dealer plate on the car and let me take for a ride, for as long as I wanted and without him. The car checked out very well. Me and a friend of mine went through it pretty thoroughly. Russell and I were able to agree on a fair price and close the deal. He also had no problem letting me scan the car for any stored engine codes. It didn't have any. I drove the car back to CT, almost 150 miles, and it cruised fine all the way home. I would recommend using Russell and AK Motors if you are in the market for an affordable used vehicle.
