I recently purchased a 2013 Honda CRV EX-L from Auto Revolution in Shelby, and my experience has been disappointing. The car was sold “as-is,” but no issues were disclosed during the test drive or sales process. Within just a few days, I began experiencing transmission problems, including rough shifting and noticeable vibration. After having it inspected, I was told the transmission fluid was burnt and the vehicle likely needs a rebuild or replacement. I understand what “as-is” means, but I believe there should be more transparency about known issues, especially ones this serious. Communication after the sale has also been limited. At this point, I do not recommend this dealership. If you do, I strongly advise future buyers to proceed with caution and have any vehicle thoroughly inspected before purchasing.

They had the truck listed on their website so I went with all intentions of buying it if it was a good truck. The truck was parked in the back and wasn’t even ready to sale.so they said to give them a week which I did and called back and the truck still wasn’t ready. 3 weeks went by and a lady called me saying the truck was ready to show so I rode by to find that the truck STILL wasn’t ready. So I went to another dealer in statesville NC and found and bought the exact truck I had been looking for.

It was the best experience I've ever had. Love my new Jeep.

I would never return here or recommend a single other person do so. They added $7,000 onto the price in hidden fees once we got there that they didn’t tell me about when I specifically called about pricing. I drove 4 hours round trip to find that the car had obviously been in an accident (they hid this in the photos and didn’t disclose) had zip ties holding things together, tried to sell us a car with no head rests (huge safety issue) the cars were very dirty and had never been cleaned, there was bird poop and dirt on the outside and the inside had dog hair and dirt splattered. The salesmen couldn’t tell us anything about the car. It was a horrible experience all around.

If I could have given all 0s I would have. I strongly advise nobody to do business with Friendship Honda of Boone. I stated I wanted to buy their Jeep, ready to do paperwork, sent over my ins and driver licenses like they requested and then they ghosted me all day. Said they were “busy” and sold the Jeep out from under me. I would have gladly put money down on it too while I got all the paperwork done. We were already pre approved as well. They knew all this but still did us dirty. I called and texted them all day, just to get a phone call in the afternoon saying sorry it got sold. Bad business the word friendship should be no where in their name!
