Went to see an Audi Q7 which was less than average market but it was a former rental car. People were very friendly there. Car came out a little dirty with a lot of scratches from luggage on the back bumper. I was assured that would be repaired. Went for a test drive and there were multiple warning lights which pretty much killed it for me. As soon as we walked in the dealership after this Sheik, the salesman, pushed a laptop in front of me asking for info including my social security. He then brought it to the sales manager. When I asked why they needed my social security number he said to run a credit check. I said we never even discussed price yet! I told him not to run a check so he said he would not. Then the manager (owner) came over with a piece of paper with a bunch of numbers on it. It listed the 28k sales price but tacked on $5k in dealer fees! I said I want to pay $28k maybe $29k with dealer fees. Stay away or realize you will pay 10% on top.
