Over text message to a salesman I asked for an itemized price sheet to see the out the door price on the vehicle I was interested in which was listed for around $31000. I live a 2 hour and 15 minute drive away from the dealership, so I wanted to know how much the true cost of the vehicle would be before I made the trip. About 6 hrs after I sent the text the salesman text back, “The out the door price is easy to calculate.” Then wrote the price which I don’t remember exactly but it was above $40,000 for the vehicle. So somehow this person made the vehicle an, “easy” $9000 more than the listed price, and never sent me an itemized price sheet. How ridiculous is this?

I did not buy the car bc im not there yet. But communication and service was great and no bs

Everything is Okay

If I haven’t bought a car at the car cruise yet it has nothing to do with car gurus solely it’s because I have not made up my mind whether I wanna buy a truck or a van whatever I marked as four star because I never put five star for anything as far as the help that I got they were fantastic. They called me back and I know if I’m gonna buy a vehicle 90% it would be a cargo. Their prices is beyond lower than other locations and I’ve been checking that for the past two months. Why am I writing this going out of my way to say this because I definitely want others to get good deals like I definitely will soon as I make up my mind what type of vehicle I would buy I have no ties with car gurus. I’m not getting paid for this I’m not gaining anything but simply when it’s time to get a vehicle I know I will get the best price with them and I wish others to get the best price that they can.
