I was very excited when discovering the exact car I'd been looking for. Unfortunately, Brooklyn is about 400+ miles from my home and I wasn't prepared to buy a car sight-unseen. I had written to my sales rep to inquire about holding the car on a deposit as I arranged to fly into LGA the following day. By the time I'd made my flight arrangements my sales rep finally got back to me only to say , "Sorry, unfortunately that car was sold today." I wasn't even give the "right of first refusal" -- the car was sold right out from under me. I know its hard when as a customer I can't be immediately on the premises, but this lack of communications by my rep cost me time, money and great disappointment.

There was a young man named Yuchen who allowed me to test drive the vehicle with him. He was understanding & very nice easy to speak with. He took good care of me at Island Toyota & helped me with the loan application & told me upfront how much it will be per month & if I needed to put down anything for the car. I was a little uneasy but Yuchen comforted me & made this process easy & smooth for me. Great guy & his manager was also nice very chill to speak with. Tina was the one who reached out & if she hadn't I don't think I would have tried to get the car so I am thankful for her too. Overall I had a Comfortable experience while I was there. I do recommend especially if you are going to finance a Certified Pre Owned vehicle. - Carlos Ortiz
