The staff was super kind and very informative. Unfortunately, we decided to wait on the purchase and evaluate what is the correct vehicle. They were understanding and helpful. I am very willing to go back to Northridge Toyota when I am ready to buy.

I was talking to the manager and set an appointment as soon as my mechanic was available. We were set to test drive on Sunday but the car was sold Saturday. So all my efforts was wasted.

This wasn’t your typical dealer experience. The owner and one other employee maintain a garage full of used cars, packed like sardines. The garage door remained closed during my visit, and none of it was moved to allow me to take a TV test drive. I was allowed to sit in it, and connect a code reader to analyze messages, of which h there were over 20. The owner made it clear he had had the smog check done. When I showed him the codes, he suggested I may not know how to use the device, then asked me if I was a mechanic. When I said that I wasn’t, his reaction indicated he was validated in assuming I misread or misused it. He further made it clear that he did not accept financing, and that I must pay in full for the car. The car itself ran, but it seemed loud and rough. After a couple if minutes it quieted, obviously an automatic choke self-adjusting. Unable to drive it, I can say nothing else about the car.

I was a serious buyer and spent over $330 on a third-party pre-purchase inspection before making my final decision. Unfortunately, by the time I received the inspection report, the vehicle had already been sold to another customer.

The dealer found two cars I had looked at really fast both car clean very nice treated me like I'd been a customer my hole life I'd recommend a fine dealer for americans
