Steve responded quickly via email. We spoke about two Tahoes he had recently brought from FL. I still haven't seen the vehicles due to distance, but I felt as though he gave me an honest appraisal of them.

No only was the car I drove over 100 miles to see, not ready to be sold, the dealership was insistent on trying to get me to agree to purchase if they fixed the problems with the car. Keep in mind this was after several conversations about my intentions before even driving up there to test drive it. I’m curious to know how a “respected” dealership in the mount pleasant area has stayed open for so long. I was very clear and adamant about my intentions on test driving that vehicle and my inability to purchase anything pending my insurance total loss claim. They continued to attempt to figure out a way for me to buy that particular vehicle. I will not recommend nor ever make a trip to this dealership for any vehicle I find that they have in the future. Absolutely reaffirmed to me why people hate car dealerships.

They would not negotiate on the price, and they were reluctant when I proposed that they repair a defective headlight.
