I came in to look at a used vehicle and explore a trade-in. The sales person was a nice enough person, asides from their shady sales tactics. If you are bringing a trade-in, be prepared for them to offer the absolute lowest amount possible with no room to move, even when comparable vehicles are selling for $8,000–$9,000 more. I understand they need to make a profit, but to offer thousands less than KBB is insane considering everyone carries a computer in their pocket nowadays. The financing and sales process is a scam. They will use confusing numbers, pressure you to avoid outside financing, and even will try to factor in the trade in tax credit to pad their margins rather than actually benefit the buyer. In the end, we walked away. It was clear they’d rather let cars sit on the lot and lose them money and then send them to auction than make a fair deal. If you’re considering buying here, come prepared, know your numbers, and secure your own financing.
