My experience there was one of the worst. I will not recommend anyone to shop for a car with Lafontaine. The salesman Mike, lied to me. He made me believe I'd get a lesser rate than my credit union. He also said that my credit union was one of their lenders, he plays golf with some of the lenders and has been doing this for 26 years. He never once showed me what was available in the inventory not even the SUV I advised I was interested in. I already had a $20k pre-approval from my credit union. He still allowed me to leave

Very nice not pushy..good experience

My husband & I were very disappointed with our experience. The salesman was nice but he literally didn’t seem to listen to a word we said because his offer was outrageous and didn’t even have anything to do with our A+ credit. I’ve never purchased a used vehicle so I don’t know if the sales strategy is different than a new car but it seemed he was only interested in what we wanted to pay per month. I could say $100 and yeah put down 60 grand to get a $100 payment but we said nothing down …. It was an irrelevant question as we would be paying cash. Both my husband and I have been in sales for a combined 50 plus years …. This wasn’t a great experience and we left with more questions than answers. Unfortunately I love the vehicle so they lost an easy sale. I’ve since found the exact car less miles with a much better price tag so I guess it was a blessing in disguise.
