Ron Carter had a sells price which was fair. I was not going to pay any "add-ons". THe sell price plus TTL. When they showed me the cost breakdown there were additional $8,000 worth of add-ons. I walked out and had a sales manager followed me out to my car and told me they would just add TTL to sales price. Too late, should have taken that approach while I was inside,

Emailed about a vehicle. Received an email back asking for my number and I provided my number. Then received an email asking if I had received their email. I then called and the person that answer the phone didn’t even recognize the name of the sales person I asked for. Told me they would get the info to the right person and they would call back. No call. I then get an email letting me know that the vehicle was no longer available and asking if they could help me with another vehicle. Sorry, never helped me with the original one.

I hate to be the person to leave such a port review but I will explain my reasoning. As someone who is in sales, I understand 100 percent how business should be conducted and how one person can have a negative profound on your business. I initially called the dealership and spoke with someone and explained the situation that I had. They told me that they can help me with the situation that I was in which was being upside down. If you tell that to someone, the expectation is to help that individual at least in my professional experience and decades of sales experience. I spent less than 30 minutes in the dealership and this is the honest truth. It took me more time to walk outside of my vehicle honestly. I walk inside and I think the agent greeted me and just looked like someone who didn’t want to be there honestly. After I left no one followed up with me. I purchased a vehicle elsewhere but the agent at this location didn’t provide alternative solutions.

Must say, prior to my purchase with Motor Trends Houston, I was having a tough time locking in the same car at other dealerships. They would prioritize someone else that was local, weren’t super responsive, or wanted to charge 2x for delivery and additional bs. Luckily “the one” popped up at MTH and the rest was history. After just one call to MTH and speaking with Mike, I was on the fast track to sealing the deal and getting the right car and the right price. They’ll take care of you end-to-end and will even check-in after the car leaves the lot. Will return for my next dream ride!
