Hyundai dealerships near me (Culpeper, VA)

I work over 2 hours away so I scheduled the test drive in advance. The dealer called to confirm the same day. The dealer called again the day of the appointment to confirm. While on the way, I called to clarify which building because multiple dealers are located in a tight space. When I arrived, he greeted me then promptly handed me off to another gentleman for assistance. This gentleman left to retrieve the keys. When he returned, he handed me a breakdown of the vehicle cost with additional services included then stated he would give me the bad news now. This is when he informed me that the car wasn't available because they sent it to be painted. When I asked why he failed to inform me yet still presented me with Financials, he said because I might want to purchase anyway. I escalated to the manager. He was the person who confirmed & met me at the door. I escalated to his direct, who offered me $500 if I signed that day anyway sight unseen. Untrustworthy & Unprofessional.

After driving an hour to get there, the salesperson was 20 minutes late, no apology, and when he brought the car around the AC didn’t work. They never checked it beforehand.

I feel after a long wait at this dealership. Long wait because the GM took the car home and had to bring it back. I was able to purchase the car and I am happy with the deal I received. Overall, good work fellas.

I negotiated the price before going to the dealer and they sent me the cars CarFax report. When I arrived at the dealer, I did a quick test drive and signed all the paperwork. Everything went smoothly but I was still there for almost 2 hours with lots of downtime. The sales person also went on a test drive with another customer, taking my car keys with him!

Location is under construction so be ready for a little congestion. Overall, not a bad experience. Dealers can be a little pushy to sell but who isn't now days.
