Over all, this was a good experience. The salesman was helpful and “held” the car for us. Things went a little downhill from there… The car was as described except for a minor missing equipment item that was stated as included. It was important to us, and when asked about this, the salesman didn’t even attempt to solve the problem. He just shrugged his shoulders and repeatedly said there was nothing he could do. When my husband asked if really he wanted to blow the deal over it, he said, “Sure!” Since we drove over 500 miles to get the car and paid the asking price, this was pretty insulting. The finance person directed him to the manager, who directed them to deduct the price of the item from the cost of the car, which was satisfactory to us (we have to order it). While I was not happy with this salesman in the end, Tempe Honda as a dealer was fair to us. We have only had the car a day, but I think we’ll be very happy with it.

Typical pushy dealership. Car i went in on either wasn't there or wasn't shown to me. Sales guy i made the appointment with didn't show up til after being there for 2 hours. Sales guy i was with told me car gurus information is largely inaccurate and most accurate info is on the dealer website. Was only shopping new. First thing they asked me was where I was at in the buying process. Told them I had just started looking and wanted to test drive to see if I even liked the car, which I didn't. Kept trying to sell me a car I didn't like then when that didn't work, tried to switch me to a car I knew I couldn't afford. I told them I couldn't afford. Staff is friendly enough and dealership seems to be well maintained. I will say, if you have the energy to go back and forth with them they seem like they're willing to strike a deal. Would definitely read all the fine print. Absolutely seems like the kind of place thats going to hide things in your contract and let you figure it out after.

Did not even contact me or bother to reach out, they obviously did not want a sale

I drove 90 minutes to buy this vehicle. I had a cashiers check to purchase, they gave me an “out the door” price with tax title license before we went. My son took off work to drive me there from Queen Creek. I called and told the salesperson Alex, that I would be there in one hour, on my way. When I arrived he set me down at a table and made me wait 20-25 minutes before he walked over and said “sorry, that other salesman, pointing, just sold the car to those people”. I was outraged. I simply wanted to know why they wasted my time?! Why did he not call and say sorry, turn around and go home. They then offered me another car, not an suv, that was 10 years older and had more miles as my other option. Only $1000 less in price. I thought it was a joke?! They should have called me knowing I was on my way. This was a bait and switch attempt. Clearly. This dealership doesn’t give a crap about their customers. Would NEVER recommend.
