John met us right away regarding the Durango. I test drove it and he simply asked “why not check out a newer Atlas for the same price?” He didn’t try to switch me but the Atlas was superior to the Durango I test drove. We did not have a trade in but they respected that we had young kids and moved us through everything within 2 hours.

Tried to add $5500 in fees excluding doc and taxes.

Good, other than the add on, non disclosed added fee to the sale price published, until we were writing a check. A $1400 vehicle preparation fee was added. The experience was less than satisfying, however, we liked the vehicle and purchased it. I was advised that this is standard and the fact that the advertised sale price does not include that fee for used cars is standard practice in IL. I purchased another used car just 30 days prior in Westmont, IL and that was not at all the case...
