Dealerships near me (Hartford, CT)

My experience with the staff was fine until I was ready to make the 1 hour and 45 minute trip to see the vehicle I wanted. I specifically told them I had a long trip, and asked the salesperson (her name starts with J) what time they to which she replied, "7pm." When I was ready to make the trip, I called again to ask and confirm, "If I leave soon, and everything goes well, can I drive the truck home today?" The salesperson replied, "yes you will be able to it home." When I got in the car and left about 15 minutes later, I followed up with an ETA of 6:30, to which another sales person replied that their last appointment is at 6pm, and that if I made the trip, I would need to return the next day to pickup the vehicle. I told them that's just not acceptable, and the GM replied, "Then we don't have a deal." To which I said, "you're right, we don't," then hung up and turned back home from the wasted trip.

Great staff, friendly, helpful and responsive to my needs. Gengras Volvo had what I was looking for in a car at a good price. They're going the extra mile to attend to little details on the car. It's a nice clean dealership. There is a hospitality area and comfortable seating if you have to wait. That being said, I never had to wait long and I was never ignored.

We had an excellent experience at Gengras. Our salesperson was Ryan Becker. Ryan had us test drive the Jeep and went into detail explaining the key safety and general features of the Jeep, especially important since this is our first Jeep purchase. We never felt pressured to buy. We did buy the Jeep and felt that we got a good trade for our car and a great price on the Jeep. Gengras is an excellent dealership and we would consider buying from them again when we're in the market for a vehicle again
