GMC dealerships near me (Statesville, NC)

Drove 3 hours only to discover the photos of the vehicle were fraudulent. The car on the lot looked as if it had been sandblasted. Looked horrible, needed a paint job BADLY, drivers side door ha due was broken (couldn't even open the door). Was asking a retail price as if the car was in perfect condition & it looked like nit needed to be declared a junk vehicle. Bottom line, I was deceived & lied to. Deserves negative stars if that was an option.

Too much sales pressure on extended warranty!

This was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership like this, and I have to say the team at abernethy made it as pleasant as I can imagine possible. I live almost 4 hours from there, but they had the car I wanted at a price I could afford. I inquired about it, it was still available, but I couldn’t make the trip until 10 days or so later, but because I was preapproved they were willing to hold it for me. The day came, it was a Saturday, and I was late getting started on the trip, putting my arrival about 30 minutes after they were supposed to close, but they stayed after hours to accommodate me. And when I arrived they were as pleasant as can be, and they had everything ready so that after taking the Tucson for a short spin around the block just to check that everything was in order. Went in to finalize the deal and's told I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Bottom line this is a great place to buy a car 10/10 would def reccomend and will be dealing with them again.

Thank you for asking about my experience. I want to share my honest feedback regarding my experience with Chuck and the 2024 Toyota Camry SE FWD. I explained that I had received an insurance claim check after my car accident and had deposited it at my bank last Tuesday. I told Chuck I was waiting for the funds to finish processing before placing a deposit, but I remained interested and was trying to move forward. Today, I was informed that another customer had placed a deposit on the vehicle and picked it up. I understand vehicles are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, but I wish I had been informed sooner that the vehicle was at risk of being sold or that a refundable deposit was an option. I am deaf and I am not asking for special treatment or sympathy. I simply value clear and timely communication so I have the same opportunity as any other customer. I appreciate Chuck’s communication, but I was disappointed with the lack of information about the vehicle’s availability.
