Ford dealerships near me (Valparaiso, IN)

Bait and switch on my trade. I used the KBB cash offer on the dealers website to be offered just under 21k for my trade. I took off work because my home is in a different time zone because I was planning to drive the new car home (Explorer). I make the 100mi trip to be offered $16K!! I even took the printed cash off they the dealer emailed me and was told "thats just a starting price nation wide" hmm. interesting that the dealer i did buy my car from in my home town gave me 22k the following day for my trade moving up from the 20.8 that the cash offer was. they even tried to offer my a "generous apr of 13%" even though I was preapproved (6.69% at my bank) and simply needed to make a phone call with what number to have the bank write a check for and told them when I got there. When I was given these outrageous numbers on my trade I walked. I was followed outside by a manager who after "bending over backwards" and 15 min of talking offered me the 21k trade in. I still walked. AVOID!

I haven't bought a car in over 9 years but "wow" has things changed? I was looking at a $35,000.00 vehicle and i offered a fare ($31,000.00-$32,000.00). They came back and said they would give me $100 off and thought it was funny? They finally came down $1,000.00 and i came up to $33,000.00. We were only $900 away from a deal and they would not come down anymore then $1,000.00 off the price? I walked away. I live close by and plan on replacing another vehicle in a few more years as well, but I think they lost a customer. Sad because the salesmen was a really nice kid. It was all the guy from the back room with an attitude that thought it was funny to offer me $100.00 off a $35,000.00 vehicle. It almost seemed as if he really didn't care? The salesmen said sorry and that he would try to talk to his boss some more, but also said he has never seen a deal come down to just a few hundred that couldn't have been made.

Called in timely matter but vehicle was sold before we could see it. It sold fast

Absolutely the best communication you could ever ask for from a dealer. I asked for specific pictures of the underside of the truck and they sent me more than enough. We did not buy the truck, but the experience with this dealer was great and very informative . Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a truck !!!!!
