I was completely satisfied with every aspect of Coughlin. My salesman was helpful and professional. The manager was great about offering me an extended warranty but not pushy when I said I couldn't afford it. I love my car and will definitely recommend these people if anyone I know is looking to purchase a vehicle.

Liked the salesman

Most of the sales staff look alike (bald, heavily tattooed, resembling former bikers). They were patronizing and seemed to actively push their style of old-school sales. Predictably lowballed my trade valuation, then told me a magic technology story as to how they have a drive-through device that identifies any trade's "issues" as to their reasoning for lowballing it. Never even showed me the car or allowed me to test-drive it (wanted proof-of-insurance). When I pulled an outdated card, they checked me online and said it was 2 years expired than posed a snarky comment about the risks of driving anywhere without insurance (I'm a 71-year-old, fully insured woman whose never had an accident). One of the worst most insulting (never happened) test drives ever. Curiously, the Sales Mgr emailed me afterwards with a (still too low) trade-in offer increased by $500. I'm avoiding Ricart Auto like the plague!

I submitted my paperwork for financing and never heard back until the car was sold

Reached out to dealership stating “I would like to purchase this vehicle.” The dealership set up a time for me to do so and either sold the car out from underneath me (I was willing to do remote paperwork etc.) personally I don’t believe the car ever even existed. It wasn’t until right before I was going to travel the hour to get the car (their next business day) that I called to confirm and they told me it sold. Then attempted to sell me a bunch of crap not even in the same class of car. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. When we told our experience to other dealers while still shopping they all laughed and said that they are terrible.

Our experience with Jeff Schmitt was negative and poorly coordinated. It began with deceptive A.I. emails that posed as a real salesperson (no disclosure it was A.I.). Lack of a real person coordinating viewing of 2 cars on 2 different lots forced us to spend hours playing catch-up when we arrived. I was assured the vehicles would be ready, clean, and parked at the front. Instead, the first vehicle was dirty, still in the lot and the salesman didn't even know why we were there. When we arrived at the 2nd location, staff appeared unaware of why we were there or that we had been sent from the first dealership, causing further delays. The wasted time created pressure as it was now the end of the day. When a simple tire pressure monitoring issue arose, the service department had already closed. I arrived fully intending to buy at near the listed price but left without buying due to feeling deceived, time pressure, and overall uneasiness. A salesman was really nice & helpful at the 1st lot.

This is the best experience that I had at Chesrown GMC from the time I entered the door to the time I left with my vehicle. Nate, Tom, Nic, Bill, Ryan, and SMASH aka Mike. They were all very very personable and I truly enjoyed talking to each and every one of them they treated me and worked with me. Nic did a fantastic job of explaining all the warranties. Tom took great care in explaining and connecting my onstage. SMASH super duper detailing . I would recommend this dealership 5 times over. I appreciate the fact Mr. Gill came and spoke with me upon leaving. 5 STARS
