Chevrolet dealerships near me (Lees Summit, MO)

I don't usually do reviews but this required one. Getting information from the dealership was like pulling teeth. Long response times (or none at all), incomplete answers, answering questions I didn't ask, then silence. I was notified by CarGurus, not the dealer, the car had been sold. If the dealership was working with someone else on finalising a deal, they should have just said that versus wasting my time.

Got back to me promptly told me what I needed to know

!Do not recommend! Tried to sell me a vehicle they knew had issues. Denying it literally kept lieing to me to make a deal. Waste of time take your business elsewhere

Car was good and the staff was helpful and friendly. But this dealership is a bait and switch. They advertise their prices well below everyone else, then when you find the car you like, they throw thousands of dollars of upsells at you and FORCE you to use financing. I wanted none of that and wanted to pay with cash and the price jumped dramatically. This is more of a predatory loan business than it is a car selling business.

Great camunication easy to talk to

My wife and I are in our 70s and don’t live close to the dealer so when we contacted them we made sure they understood we were not going to fly in to do paper work. They assured us that was fine. After agreeing on everything getting approved, they asked when are you coming in? I reminded them we were not. Then they began to accuse us that we were “fraud”. We sent multiple things and documents such as our insurance cards our dL Then our dL in a picture with our faces. Then they asked to ft. They said it was because we wanted to licensed the vehicle on OK where we have rentals. Also our credit union is located in OKC and we have another BMW financed with) Which we also sent them a bank statement with the info of our OK address. We have bought multiple cars in the last 20 years and the lady 6 never stepped in a dealer. Buying a car is always a pain in the… and this is why. We have A credit and this should have been so easy.
