This was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership like this, and I have to say the team at abernethy made it as pleasant as I can imagine possible. I live almost 4 hours from there, but they had the car I wanted at a price I could afford. I inquired about it, it was still available, but I couldn’t make the trip until 10 days or so later, but because I was preapproved they were willing to hold it for me. The day came, it was a Saturday, and I was late getting started on the trip, putting my arrival about 30 minutes after they were supposed to close, but they stayed after hours to accommodate me. And when I arrived they were as pleasant as can be, and they had everything ready so that after taking the Tucson for a short spin around the block just to check that everything was in order. Went in to finalize the deal and's told I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Bottom line this is a great place to buy a car 10/10 would def reccomend and will be dealing with them again.

Disappointed, Vehicle was advertised on line but had been sold

We drove 172 miles to "buy" a car advertised as a "Great Deal" on CarGurus. Once we arrived, during the test drive the check engine light came on. They said they were going to replace some equipment on it but the replacement part had not arrived yet - but we could drive the car home and have a local Chevy dealership do the repair. We also learned they had put a "protective ceramic coating" on the vehicle which raised the purchase price by $2900 - about 20%. Just incredible.

The salesman Cooper and the manager Paul were super helpful. We drove 3 hours to look at the car, it was ready to drive off the lot as well as most paper work completed ahead of time. Great experience! We definately recommend this dealer!

The price listed is not what you’ll pay. They will send you videos of the car talking about how great it is and how good of shape it is in, and you can offer them cash, $100 bills for their full listed price, but it’s not enough. I actually offered them $1,100 over their listed price, cash $100 bills and it wasn’t enough. Tax, tags, document fees, they wanted over $2,000 more than what they had the car listed for. The Document fees at this dealership are $899! I dealt with dealerships with document fees from $399 to $699, but this was by far the highest I had encountered. When I pointed out there should be less documentation with a cash sale than a financed sale so they should be able to cut that down, they scoffed. The $17,600 cash I offered covered the listed price, all taxes, title, and tag fees, plus $100 for documents. Over $18,600 for a car listed at $16,500. I purchased a car similar to this, same make and model and year for $14,000 a few days later.
