I found this car listed on CarGurus for $26,995. Before making the trip, I called the dealership to verify the price, and I was told over the phone that the vehicle was indeed listed for $26,995. Based on that information, I drove all the way from Abilene, Texas, which was about a 6-hour drive, with the intention of buying the car the same day.When I arrived, I looked over the vehicle and noticed that the roof wrap was peeling, the wheels had curb rash, and the driver’s side fender had some chips. Even with those issues, I was still ready to purchase the car at the listed price. However, when the salesman came out to assist me, I asked again to confirm that the price was $26,995. He initially said yes, but then told me he would double-check. When he came back, he suddenly changed the price to $31,000. This was extremely frustrating because I specifically called ahead to confirm the price before driving six hours to the dealership. If the price had actually been $31,000,i wouldn’t come
