Initially, very positive. Their price was fair and the trade-in was reasonable leaving about 43k to be paid in cash. I knew the cal-fla distance would be a hassle and my guy was looking into the transport cost. Came back with 3k, which I was prepared to pay. But they also wanted 3k to transport my car to them. That was unexpected. We were supposed to talk Saturday but they went silent. Finally late Sunday they came back with a suggestion that I try to sell it myself cuz they have to reduce the trade offer to 30k. Also included a carfax report on the i8 which showed minor damage, tho the listing had said No Accidents. My car started looking better and better so I told them I was passing on the i8. Never heard a word.

Zero transparency. We agreed to a $43,600 price on a Lyriq before I arrived. I spent three hours on-site and authorized a hard credit pull based on that exact number. The moment my credit took the hit, they demanded a mandatory, unadvertised $2,000 fee. They completely refused to honor the original price, leaving me with a pointless ding to my credit score. Management ignored all my attempts to resolve this. Do not step foot on this lot without an itemized out-the-door price in writing.

We were notified the car was gone so we canceled our 2.5hr trip to go there. A salesman called and said he had two others that were he same and I asked mileage and he said one had less and the other had 3,000 more. So we drove the 2.5hrs and he said well it actually had 60,000 more miles and the “other” was not there but he didn’t call us because he wanted us to see the other one with 60,000 more miles that was even more expensive than the original we wanted to see and in a lower trim package. Then he didn’t want to spend any time with us once he found out I was not wanting a high mileage car and apologized for having us come down. His original excuse for not calling was that he still wanted us to see and drive the high mileage one and so we would buy the “one that was out with low mileage” when it came back. Seems it didn’t exist and he thought he was going to just get me to buy the high mileage car he had.
