Dealer responded...never went to check out vehicle

We had a verbal deal but I was not able to get in to the dealership until Monday 3/2. Because we didn’t close the deal before the end of the month the cut the amount they agreed to on my trade in by half

I originally inquired through CarGurus and never received a response. I then called directly and spoke with Phil, who confirmed the vehicle was available and scheduled a test drive for the following Saturday. He asked me to text photos and the VIN of my current vehicle for trade-in purposes, which I did. A few days later I followed up via text to see if they were interested in my trade. I never received a response. No one confirmed my test drive appointment, and when Saturday came and went, no one followed up to ask why I didn’t show. I see this dealership has great reviews, so maybe this was just an isolated experience but from my perspective the communication was nonexistent. It’s very frustrating when you’re a serious buyer and can’t get basic follow up. Maybe they just really enjoy looking at this car and decided it’s better suited for display than actually being sold.

I reached out to Drew Auto about the 2013 Honda Ridgeline RT and had a really good experience, even though I didn’t end up purchasing the truck. My brother ultimately decided to go in a different direction and bought another one from them They were quick to respond, answered all my questions honestly, and provided clear details about the truck without any pressure. I never felt rushed or pushed — just supported with good information so we could make the best decision for our situation. That kind of professionalism and respect goes a long way. Even though we didn’t move forward with this particular vehicle, I genuinely appreciate how they treated us and would absolutely consider working with them in the future. Great communication and solid customer service all around.
