I went to look at a used truck I was interested in. I used the online trade in appraisal tool for a value for my trade which came back at $6000-$7000 which I was happy with so I drove about an hour & fifteen minutes to see the truck and waited a bit before a test drive. The truck was nice but have a couple little issues but nothing that couldn't be resolved easily. After seeing my truck a manager came over to tell me they could only give $1000 for a trade in for it. They were very nice , but I would rather have not wasted my time. My truck is older , but in nice shape with low miles and has always been maintained and we were not even close to making a deal so I cut my losses and drove home in my older but still very nice truck.

Very unprofessional dealer. There’s a big lack of effective communication on dealer’s part. Right from the beginning of my appt, I was very disappointed. He sat us in his office for about 20-30min unattended. He was moving up and down and when he finally came to us, we ask him to tell us about the car and he couldn’t give us the full details. Still went ahead and test drove the car. They were convincing me to finance through them but I had a very good rate with my credit union. When they realized that they couldn’t match my rate, my dealer refused to communicate that to me. I kept calling and messaging but no answer from the dealer called JACK. I finally got hold of the manager and he was quite unprofessional too. He only focused on me getting them the check but not acknowledging my frustration with my dealer JACK. It’s not a place I’d recommend.

I reached out via email and was contacted right away during business hours. Staff is welcoming and helpful, not pushy. Answered all my questions. They gave me a better rate than I expected. Would purchase from them again. Excellent service!

My experience with Platinum Auto has definitely been a positive one. In fact, the experience is still ongoing as I am still considering the purchase of the truck they have for sale. I hope that a deal can be made, and if not, I would most certainly consider Platinum Auto in the future.
