What’s New for the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette
For 2026, Chevy overhauls the Corvette’s cockpit to remedy the unpopular layout that separated driver and passenger. In the process, the ‘Vette’s screens grow from two to three and get bigger, as well. A new performance app is standard across the lineup. There are a couple new exterior colors, a handful of new interior colors, and a newly available electrochromatic glass roof.
Design
For 2026, the Chevy Corvette gets a couple new exterior colors, Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver, as well as newly available graphics packages. Otherwise, the coupe and convertible both look much the same, the former with a removable roof panel and the latter with a power retractable hardtop. The Corvette rocks staggered wheels, a low, wide stance and brash lines, and it earns as much attention on the road as it was when this generation was new, several years ago.
Powertrain
Performance features and options carry over unchanged for 2026. The base Stingray features a 6.2-liter V8 engine rated for 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. With the Z06, you’ll get a 5.5-liter V8 engine good for 670 hp and 460 lb-ft. Finally, the ZR1 gets a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine rated for 1,064 hp and 828 lb-ft. All get an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive (RWD).

Interior
The Chevy Corvette’s 2026 updates are centered on the cabin layout. It’s still a snug, cozy space for two, but Chevrolet removed the button panel that previously divided the new occupants, as well as rearranging the dashboard for more, and bigger, displays. There are some new color combinations on offer, and there are tons of upgrades for the standard bucket seats, including various grades and hues of leather. Other options include carbon fiber trim, a premium Bose audio system, and a new panoramic roof for the coupe model that can adjust opacity at the touch of a button.
Technology
Across the lineup, the Chevrolet Corvette comes standard with a 12.7-inch digital instrument display paired with a 14.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The system is based on Google software and offers Google apps, the Google Assistant voice command system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To the left of the steering wheel, there’s a new 6.6-inch touchscreen that enables the driver to easily scroll through data. Wireless charging and a performance app also come standard.
Safety
The Chevrolet Corvette lineup comes standard with a rearview camera, forward-collision warnings, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and a following-distance indicator. Chevrolet offers the Corvette with a front-view camera, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Chevrolet Corvette has not been crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). This is typical for sports cars.

Pricing and Release Date
The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette is expected to go on sale in the fall of 2025. As of this writing, Chevrolet has not yet announced pricing for the 2026 Corvette lineup, though it’s reasonable to expect modest increases over the 2025 lineup. For reference, the 2025 prices start at $68,300 for the Stingray, $112,100 for the Z06, and $173,300 for the ZR1. There’s also the E-Ray, reviewed separately. These prices do not include the 2025 destination charge, which varies from $1,695 to $1,895, depending on trim level.
