What’s New for the 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing

The 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is largely a carryover model, but there are a few equipment changes for the new year. It now has a performance steering wheel and the Driver Assist Package—which includes adaptive cruise control, enhanced emergency braking, and automatic reverse braking—is now standard on models equipped with an automatic transmission.

Design

The 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is a sharper version of the CT4, with a unique front fascia, a rear spoiler, and checkered V-Series badging. It has dark chrome accents and sits on 18-inch wheels with dark silver, graphite, and bronze finishes available. Though there aren’t any appearance packages, several cutomization features are available, including blue, red, and bronze brake calipers and wheel caps, a couple of carbon fiber packages, and black mirror caps.

Powertrain

As the most-powerful Cadillac in the sub-compact class, the 2026 CT4-V Blackwing packs a punch with a 3.7-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, but a 10-speed automatic is available. While the regular V-Series is available with all-wheel drive (AWD), the Blackwing is rear-wheel-drive (RWD) only. It also gets track-tailored chassis and suspension features, including standard Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and high-performance Brembo brakes. It goes from zero to 60-mph in 3.9 seconds with the automatic transmission and has a top speed of 189 mph. The CT4-V Blackwing requires premium fuel, and gets fuel economy of 16 mpg city, 24 highway with the automatic or 15 city and 23 highway with the manual.

Interior

Even though it was introduced in 2022, the 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing's interior is old-school, with an infotainment screen that pops up out of the dash and hard-touch buttons and dials for HVAC and audio controls. It seats four comfortably, though there are seatbelts for five. Cargo space is also compact at 10.7 cubic feet. Black synthetic leather is standard, but black, tan, and gray leather options are available. The Blackwing further lets you customize your interior with high-performance seats, seat belt colors, and sueded steering wheel options. A power sunroof is also available.

Technology

Though the 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is a driver’s car, it still carries a fair amount of tech. Standard kit includes an 8-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a 15-speaker AKG premium audio system, a 12-inch configurable digital driver information cluster, ambient lighting, navigation, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Available tech includes a performance data and video recorder, remote start, and a head-up display.

Safety

As standard, the 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing includes a forward collision alert, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, GM's Teen Driver technology, lane-keep assist, enhanced automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, and automatic reverse braking. Neither the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) nor the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) had crash-tested the CT4-V Blackwing at the time of writing.
