What’s New for the 2026 Audi Q7
The Q7 gained a number of improvements for 2026, including revised exterior styling. Audi introduced a new Convenience Plus package for the model year, which brings 20-inch wheels and upgraded interior features. Some models also gained all-wheel steering, OLED taillights, and more package options.
Design
The new Q7 design is not as round and frumpy as older models, featuring a more upright grille and boxier proportions. Audi offers a range of wheel options, depending on the trim, and the new OLED taillights feature a lightbar that stretches across the rear liftgate. Audi also offers unique badges and lighting elements, depending on the trim level.
Powertrain
Audi offers two engine options for the 2026 Q7. The base engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, making 261 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. A turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine is available, which offers 335 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. Audi refers to these engines as 45 TFSI and 55 TFSI, respectively. All models have an automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive (AWD) is standard.

Interior
The Q7 seats up to seven people on standard leather upholstery. Other standard features include power-adjustable front seats, a power-folding third row, and heated front seats. Higher trims add heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and sunshades for rear occupants. Cargo space is below average, however, with 14.2 cubic feet when the third-row seats are upright. That number expands to just 69.6 cubic feet with the rear two rows folded down, leaving it behind many rivals.
Technology
Audi equips a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a dual-screen infotainment system with 10.1- and 8.6-inch screens. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with SiriusXM, HD radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, a 10-speaker stereo, and navigation. Audi’s two-screen solution can be confusing at first, but the system is responsive, and both touchscreen displays offer crisp, easy-to-see graphics.
