What’s New for the 2025 Lincoln Aviator
The Aviator features a refreshed exterior with a new grille, headlamps, and available sequentially animated daytime running lamps. The 2025 Aviator also introduces several updates, including the Lincoln Digital Experience and BlueCruise hands-free highway driving technology, available for the first time.
Design
The 2025 Lincoln Aviator sports a bold new look with an updated grille and headlamps. Trims for the Aviator include Premiere, Reserve, and Lincoln Black Label. The Jet Package, available on all trims, adds unique wheels and black exterior accents. The Premiere comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, the Reserve has 22-inch black aluminum wheels, and the Black Label has 22-inch black aluminum wheels.
Powertrain
The Aviator is powered by a standard twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Aviator offers a choice between rear-wheel drive (RWD) and available four-wheel drive (4WD). An Air Glide Suspension system is also available for a smoother ride. When properly equipped, the Aviator can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
EPA fuel economy estimates have not yet been stated, but for reference, the 2024 model has a similar powertrain and returns fuel economy of 18 mpg city, 26 highway, 21 combined. Unlike many luxury cars, the Aviator can run on regular gasoline.
Interior
Standard features on the 2025 Aviator include leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof. The Lincoln Black Label models offer premium leather seating, massaging front seats, and the exclusive Invitation theme with open-pore Khaya wood trim.
The Aviator provides ample cargo space with up to 78.6 cubic feet behind the front row. With the second row in use, there’s 42.7 cubic feet of cargo space. With all seats in the upright position, the Aviator provides up 19.2 cubic feet behind the third-row seats, accessed via a power liftgate.
Technology
The Aviator’s technology suite includes a 13.2-inch central touchscreen with the Lincoln Digital Experience, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster. Standard tech features include a wireless charging pad, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and multiple USB ports.
Safety
The Aviator comes with Lincoln’s Co-Pilot360 2.1, which is a suite of driver-assistance features that includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and more. The Aviator comes with a four-year subscription to BlueCruise, which is a hands-free driving technology available on designated highways. It allows the vehicle to manage braking, acceleration, and steering.
Pricing and Release Date
At the time of this writing, the 2025 Lincoln Aviator starts at $58,880 for the base trim, not including destination fees. Lincoln has just begun shipping the Aviator to dealerships, though ordering has been open for some time. The vehicle comes with a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty.
