What’s New for the 2025 Lexus ES
The Lexus ES carries over largely unchanged since its last facelift for the 2022 model year. The Black Line Special Edition returns for 2025, after a four-year hiatus. Available only for the ES 350 and limited to 1,000 units, the Black Line Special Edition provides buyers with a uniquely styled alternative to the F-Sport.
Design
The 2025 ES range gets several available wheel options, from a 17-inch twin V-spoke design on the base model to an exclusive 19-inch twin five-spoke design on the aggressive F-Sport trim. F-Sport models also get a unique front end with triple-beam LED headlights. The new Black Line Special Edition gets black mirror caps, a black lip spoiler, and a black lower rocker panel.
Powertrain & Performance
The 2025 Lexus ES is available with two engines: a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine or a powerful 3.5-liter six-cylinder engine. The four-cylinder produces 204 horsepower and is only available with a sophisticated Dynamic Torque Control all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. This system can send up to 50% of torque to the rear wheels when slippage is detected at the front wheels. When the extra traction is not needed, the rear axle is decoupled to maximize fuel efficiency. The 302-horsepower V6 is only available with an eight-speed automatic transmission and only in front-wheel drive (FWD). The sporting Black Line Special Edition is offered exclusively with this powertrain.

Interior
Inside the 2025 ES sedan, drivers will find a driver-centric cockpit and a spacious cabin for their passengers. Buyers have a variety of interior options depending on the trim and packages. Base models get NuLuxe synthetic leather upholstery, while the high-end Luxury and Ultra Luxury trims offer a genuine semi-aniline leather interior.
Technology
All 2025 Lexus ES sedans are compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, allowing easy access to your favorite apps through a standard high-definition 8-inch infotainment screen or an optional 12.3-inch screen. Depending on the trim, a specially designed 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system is available, delivering high-quality audio to all occupants. Passengers will easily be able to charge devices with six USB ports found throughout the cabin.
Safety
Reinforcing Lexus’s commitment to safety, every 2025 Lexus ES model comes standard with Lexus Safety System 2.5+, bringing a full suite of safety and convenience features to the vehicle. The system includes adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, and lane-departure alert. The 2025 Lexus ES earned a five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the best possible score from that organization.

Pricing and Release Date
At the time of this writing, 2025 Lexus ES pricing starts at $43,215 for the ES 350 Base or E S250 AWD. The top-of-the-line Ultra Luxury trim starts at $52,080 for either the ES 350 or ES 250 AWD. 2025 models are out now, and the limited Black Line Special Edition may still be available at some dealers.
