What’s New for the 2025 Audi A6 E-Tron
The A6 e-tron is an all-new model for 2025 that will join Audi’s lineup alongside other electric models like the Q4 e-tron and e-tron GT. We don’t have firm pricing details for the car yet, but expect that its price tag will extend past $100,000 in top configurations.
Design
The A6 e-tron has a sleek, fastback shape similar to that of the Audi A7. The car sits low and has sharp, aggressive styling. Slim headlights with LED daytime running lights (DRLs) flank the closed-off grille, and the A6 features large air intakes in the lower grille for better brake cooling.
Powertrain
Two powertrain configurations are available in 2025. The base setup includes one electric motor on the rear axle making 362 horsepower. An all-wheel-drive (AWD) model is available with an extra electric motor and a combined 543 horsepower. Both models offer strong acceleration, but the dual-motor variant is considerably quicker, at just 4.3 seconds to 60 mph compared to the single-motor’s 5.2-second time. Additionally, Audi promises up to 400 miles of range and DC fast charging to get the car back on the road quickly.

Interior
The A6 e-tron’s cabin is a luxurious space, but it’s clear Audi focused on technology over all-out opulence in its newest EV. The car features electrochromic glass in the roof that allows passengers to instantly “frost” the glass for extra shade, and the front passenger gets a dedicated display screen that works while the vehicle is in motion.
Technology
A 14.5-inch touchscreen and 11.9-inch digital gauge cluster come standard on the 2025 A6 e-tron. The system offers Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, SiriusXM radio, HD radio, multiple USB inputs, and more. Audi also offers a passenger-side display that measures 10.9 inches, and stereo upgrade options are available. The interface is generally easy to understand and use, and Audi’s high-resolution display screens make it a breeze to navigate menus and options. The digital gauge cluster is configurable, allowing the driver to choose a range of information and displays, and the system’s responsiveness makes it easy to use.
Safety
The new A6 e-tron has yet to see the business end of crash-testing with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), but Audi equips plenty of safety tech. The list includes automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and more. Audi offers blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and traffic-sign recognition, among other features.

Pricing and Release Date
As of the time of this writing, Audi hasn’t officially priced the 2025 A6 e-tron. It’s expected to start at around $80,000 and extend to past $100,000 in top configurations. Like other Audis, the car will likely offer a range of options to push those prices even higher.
