The Allroad is Audi’s off-road wagon brand in the US, and while the number of long-roof cars has dwindled drastically over the years, the German automaker still offers two rugged family haulers. The A6 Allroad is the up-level option of the pair, offering midsize sedan comfort with the added practicality of a large cargo hold.

What’s New for the 2025 Audi A6 Allroad
The A6 Allroad only received a mild update for 2025, which brought a handful of new standard features. It is otherwise unchanged for the new year.
Design
While it looks like an A6 from the front, the Allroad’s wagon body makes it a far rarer car. It sports a lifted ride height over other Audi wagons, including the high-performance RS6 Avant. Audi offers a few wheel choices depending on the configuration, and roof rails come standard, making it much easier to install and use cargo racks.
Powertrain
The A6 Allroad is available with one powertrain option for 2025. It’s a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 making 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Power reaches all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. The Allroad rides a little more than an inch higher at low speeds for better ground clearance, and the car comes with an off-road mode that raises the suspension even higher.

Interior
Audi equips leather upholstery with heated front and rear seats as standard. Ventilated front seats are also standard, along with power adjustments. Massaging functionality is available, which comes with upgraded seats, and Audi offers an extended leather package and memory settings for the front passengers. The car has a good amount of space across both rows of seating, and adults can ride comfortably for extended periods in the back seat. Cargo space measures 30 cubic feet with the back seats upright, and folding them flat opens the area even more.
Technology
A dual-screen infotainment system comes standard, offering a 10.1-inch upper display and an 8.6-inch lower unit. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, along with a Bang and Olufsen stereo, HD radio, wireless charging, navigation, Bluetooth, multiple USB ports, and more. Audi’s infotainment interface is packed with features and the dual-screen system takes a little time to learn, but the displays are crisp and responsive.
Safety
The 2025 A6 Allroad missed out on a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), but it scored well in the limited testing it received. Standard driver aids include a rearview camera, forward collision warnings, automatic emergency braking, traffic jam assist, parking sensors, lane keep assist, lane departure warnings, and traffic sign recognition. Available tech includes a head-up display, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, a night-vision assist system, and more.

Pricing and Release Date
As of the time of this writing, the 2025 Audi A6 Allroad starts at $70,500 for the base Premium trim and $76,600 for the Prestige trim. Both models see a $1,295 destination charge tacked on at the bottom line.
