What’s New for the 2024 Audi A3
The Audi A3 was last redesigned for the 2022 model year. In 2023, Audi added standard LED headlights and available wireless device charging. For the 2024 model year, there are minimal changes to the Audi A3.
Design
The A3 features a handsome, modern design, with a chiseled grille and headlights. Trims for the Audi A3 are Premium and Premium Plus. The Premium trim comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof. The available Black Optics Package adds 18-inch alloy wheels with graphite gray finish, all-season tires, black exterior trim, and a sport suspension that lowers the vehicle by 15 millimeters.
Powertrain
There is one powertrain offered with the Audi A3. It’s a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 201 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through a seven-speed automatic transmission to the front wheels or available Quattro all-wheel drive (FWD or AWD).
The FWD A3 returns fuel economy of 29 mpg city, 37 highway, and 32 combined. The AWD Quattro version returns 27 mpg city, 34 highway, and 30 combined. The A3 requires premium fuel.
Interior
The A3 Premium comes standard with a push-button start, tri-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, and leather upholstery. An available Convenience Package on the Premium adds remote keyless entry, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless device charging, satellite radio, and driver’s seat memory settings. The Premium Plus trim adds many of the features from the Convenience Package. The A3 provides 10.9 cubic feet of trunk space, which is somewhat small for the segment.
Technology
The Audi infotainment system is advanced and easy to use. It consists of a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. It also comes standard with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The Technology Package on the Premium Plus adds navigation, Audi’s Virtual Cockpit (a fully digital instrument panel), and a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system.
