When is GM going to make replacement interior door handles? OEM door panel is $410.00.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to drill 3/16 in. holes and use stainless steel aircraft lockwire to repair. I know that only a limited number of people have access to lockwire, and 410 dollars is insane for a door handle.

Go to any auto interior shop, they can match the color and material, and make it better than new.

I ordered a after market replacement online. comes with all the tools to replace the original. was an easy one hour job. beats buying a complete panel from GM... just search for replacement door handle HHR
