The overhead liner has almost blocking the view out of the rear window, is there a way to refastening it without taking it down and starting from scratch?

No good way that I am aware of. Well that makes it look original anyways. I have seen cork board push pins used before to just hold it up out of the way and to keep all the foam parts from falling all over.
