2003 chevy suburban good deal but, want to try to get great deal?
2003 chevy suburban LS 99,717mi and clean. Good deal in vineland nj at $7997 with the mv at $10000. Went to dealer and he made the price $7775. What would be a good counter to get a great deal on truck?
First, have you run a vehicle history report such as carfax, vincheck, etc.? I suggest you do that. If the vehicle has had multiple owners or been involved in an accident your vehicle history report, in hand, can be a powerful bargaining tool. Also, check kbb.com and Nada.com. For pricing info. Print out what you find, if lower than $7775, and take that with you as well. Be sure to use the dealer's zip code on those pricing sites to get a true and fair amount of the vehicle's value. I would also add Edmuds used car value and Black book. Get an average of what the retail would be. They will probably all be different. Check your market. Private Party websites like Craigslist, and local website classifieds. If it way under market its probably already marked down so far they aren't making much money on it. Carfax will tell you how long they have had it.
