My 1995 ford Taurus has a leak in the air conditioner system, what should I do.

Asked by Feb 16, 2015 at 11:55 PM about the 1995 Ford Taurus GL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The air conditioner compressor works, I know because I filled the system with 134. Then
the next day, system did not work. This gave me the knowledge that I have a leak,
where's the leak mainly.

You would have to put some pressure on the line then start checking for leaks it might be a small one you'll find it I work in a AC shop in bellflower

I am guessing that you are not a licensed A/C repairman so you will need to take it to a grage that has certified equipment to fix it. They will evacuate what freon is left in the system, pressure test it, find and fix the leak and then recharge it. They will also check the complete system before they finish to be sure it is working properly.

Cool I will work on my small leak, thanks car gurus.
