Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So i have cleared all the codes, yet after 2 weeks engine light came back on
and its code 22, witch is suppose to be TPS, i replaced the TPS a month ago,
my question is are you suppose to adjust it or something?? it runs rough at
Idle and will die at a stop light, but once its warmed up it runs fine, but like i
said engine light is on, also i bought the TPS on ebay for way cheaper than at
auto store, could it be bad?? i just don't understand if it should be tight or
kinda loose either, actually my brother in law put it in and it is moveable.

TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) is a "Blessing and a curse!!). They are DESIGNED to have your Tire Pressure Set at the Pressure inside the Drivers Door REGARDLESS of what it says on the Sidewall of the Tire. AND IT SHOULD BE SET WHEN THE TEMPERATURE IS AT 70 Degrees Ambient (surrounding) Temp. I know, I know. How often is it a perfect 70 Degrees? To compensate for this, for every 3 degrees above 70, reduce the air Pressure by 1 Degree! Conversely, for every 3 Degrees BELOW 70, INCREASE IT 1 POUND! And this measurement should be when the Tires are as Cool as they will be, ie, first thing in the Morning. DO NOT BE CONCERNED IF YOU DRIVE 100 MILES AND DECIDE TO CHECK YOUR TIRE PRESSURE AND IT IS 10 Pounds higher than you set it before you left. The Tire Manufacturer has designed the tire for quite an extreme variation. Also, if your TPMS Light is on when you make this adjustment, you will probably have to drive about 20 minutes and turn you car off and back on before the light goes out. Sort of a "Power Down - Restart" like a PC. If you're still confused, Google this question! Last thing, if your Tire Dealer puts in the "Max Pressure" shown on your Tires Sidewall - You need a new Tire Supplier!!! Always go by your Car Manufacturers Instructions SHOWN ON THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR ON POST! Even if you change Brand, Size of Tire, whatever. No Exceptions!!! Hope this Helps! But Google it!! I do not Sell Tires! I'm just OCD and have researched this for myself! Found Tire Stores pretty much employ people who don't care to really understand TIRES!!

With the throttle plate closed, adjust the TPS sensor till your multimeter reads between 0.38 and 0.42 Volts DC. Once there, tighten the two TPS sensor screws. The sensor is now calibrated.
