The CarGurus verdict
Stuck on repeat, the Challenger hits its 13th model year selling nothing but style and a purely straight-line driving experience.
Dodge is down to only two cars and one SUV. None have seen a ground-up redesign in 10 years. The Challenger is riding on the same 1990s-era Mercedes chassis as when the muscle car debuted in 2008. But amazingly, the Dodge lineup isn't entirely backward. The Challenger is more of a legend in 2021 than any muscle car claimed to be in the 1970s. It is a single-minded sled of straight-line speed that has aged, for all the better, into a serious, high-tech dragster. Selling the Challenger as a silly, loudmouthed idiot of a car isn't some marketing ploy—it's the real thing and it's why Dodge can afford to build only three vehicles. The Challenger, like all passions that override logic, is brilliantly executed in thought and hopelessly flawed as a car. If it's for you, you'll know.

What owners say
"Drivers generally love the 2021 Dodge Challenger for its power, comfort, and unique styling. Many owners appreciate the impressive technology, features, and driving experience, especially the handling and performance. However, some noted downsides like limited comfort adjustments in the passenger seat and concerns about driving in wet conditions."
For it being a used car it is in fairly good shape, MANY features on it that I can control which is pretty cool.
August 27, 2025This is an amazing car! It is fast, and feels extremely solid. The car is very comfortable to drive, and the placement of gauges and instruments is quite sensible. Apple CarPlay support is excellent, and integrates well with the vehicle. The vehicle also offers UConnect and Android. The entertainment system is high quality. The only negative is that there is no facility for automatic raising of the front windows.
March 6, 2023What an amazing car! I bought a 2021 GT less than a week ago and I love it. I cant believe how many features the car has. Just to name a few: Driver seat memory, heated seats, heated steering wheel, launch control, adaptive cruise control, the Harmon\Kardon sound system, it has everything you could ever want and more. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about a Challenger!

January 11, 2023I love the vehicle, it handles amazingly well, has lots of power and tons of drive screen options in the menu on the dashboard screen
January 24, 2022The looks, sound, the comfort is excellent. Dodge has stepped up the game and I hope they continue to do this. I have a scat pack and dont regret it one bit
August 15, 2021The 2021 Challenger has just about all the features you might want or need. Considering this car has depreciated two years over the “last call” edition, I consider the ‘21 model a very good value. Many options are available for Challengers and many are available on the used market. Shop carefully and you should be able to find the color, interior and engine option you desire. My wife says the passenger seat does not have enough adjustments to get really comfortable. Other models to consider would be the Mustang, Camaro or Corvette.
January 23, 2024Very impressed with the car. Traded a 2020 Charger ScatPak and I wanted a manual. This car is a blast to drive and really I dont think it is missing anything. Ive only had it a week so its too early to really judge it.
January 16, 2023I love all the features but I think the bottom fog lights should be a different color then the headlights. This car has a great value. Its not missing anything. I would compare it to a Corvette or porche bc of the speed
October 6, 2022The 2021 Dodge Challenger SXT is comfortable, has lots of power. Everything on the dash easy to get to. First tank of gas, mostly around town, I got 24 miles a gallon. I love it. Its not a cookie cutter car. Dodge Challenger stands out and looks GREAT. Compared it to the Camaro. The Camaro is also a great car and not a cookie cutter car. But you feel every little bump in the road with that stiff suspension. The Camaro sets lower, makes it harder to get in and out of. The stiffer suspension will take corners better.
August 9, 2021The vehicle is perfect. It is not comparable to any other car. Dodge hit a home run. The challenger is one of the best cars produced. Style, design is clear. The body line is great. Would recommend to any one. Smitty
