The only thing I wish this car had was a sunroof! But it has the racks and all the bells and whistles that we want/need. So much room and space

I bought the 6 seat Santa Fe Limited Ultimate AWD with Tech Package with low mileage. I got the top of the line for a third less the original MSRP. I am so happy with this vehicle. I have taken it from Tampa to DC, packed to the gills and still averaged 26.2 mpg with adaptive cruise control. Great road trip!

We searched all competitors and still went with this. No other SUV provides the same options and features for near the same price. All other similar vehicles are usually $8,000 more money than this. This is replacing a 2015 Santa Fe Limited Ultimate which was totaled in a auto accident.

2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Review
Merko says:
I have friends who own Hyundai Santa Fes, so I had to test drive one. I was not impressed with the 3.3 liter V6 It seemed sluggish for a 6 cylinder. It seemed to lumber along with heavier steering that was not so responsive. the fit and finish were pretty good and it had the necessary bells and whistles. it had plenty of second row leg room. Not so sure about the third row. it also had decent cargo space. I just wasnt impressed with the power and handling

"More leg room "
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2015 Volvo XC60 2015.5 T6 AWD worse.
"Its a bigger SUV so to has a third row and more cargo space. Its size is also why it is not as quick and manuverable."

2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Ultimate AWD Review
Aeversull says:
Following test drives of the Toyota Highlander and Kia Sorento, the Hyundai Santa Fe was our choice based on quality, features and outstanding value. The other vehicle we were going to test drive was the Honda Pilot; however, an independent mechanic cautioned me about Hondas current transmission issues. I had just taken my Sons Honda 2015 mini-van to the dealership because of a glich in the transmission software. I also read several reviews cautioning potential Honda buyers to not purchase the 9-speed automatic transmission in the current Honda Pilot. This was enough information for me to not waste time test driving the Honda Pilot.

Back Seats Ranked 2018 Toyota Highlander XLE worse.
"Both backseats were comfortable; however, the Santa Fe back seats are heated."
Family Car Ranked 2018 Toyota Highlander XLE worse.
"Both the Santa Fe and Highlander are great products to haul 4-5 people comfortably with luggage/cargo or 6-7 people with limited luggage/cargo. The Santa Fe has a few more features such as 3rd-row climate controls and a 115v port in the truck area."
