I bought this to help with my side work as a master electrician. The size is perfect, parking on a busy street is no problem. Plenty of room for tools and materials. Ladder rack was already on this one. Perfect to mount a conduit tube, and of course ladders. Decent power, good gas mileage, pretty comfortable for me at 61. Very happy so far and 24mpg is far better than my trucks 10mpg with todays prices.

Have decided to pursue the Nissan SV200 purely because of the dimensions of the cargo space. The Ford seemed like a fair value and was in great condition.

"Selected only because survey did no have N/A as a selection."
Looks/Style Ranked 2018 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT LWB FWD with Rear Cargo Doors better.
"The passenger van looks better with the windows and lower profile wheels/tires. The cargo van looks like a work van."
Front Seats Ranked 2018 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT LWB FWD with Rear Cargo Doors better.
"The seats in the passenger van are more comfortable and are available with power adjust. The cargo van seats are manual adjust only."

"Our need was for passenger capacity and versatility. Rear seats are not available in the cargo van."
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2018 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT LWB FWD with Rear Cargo Doors worse.
"This is not a fair comparison since one is designed for passengers and the other is designed for work/cargo. Even with all rear seats removed from the passenger van, cargo capacity is less because of the added wall/door trim and panels. The floor is also not flat in the passenger van."
Family Car Ranked 2018 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT LWB FWD with Rear Cargo Doors better.
"This is not a fair comparison since one is designed for passengers and the other is designed for work/cargo. Attempting to custom upgrade a cargo van is not realistic since many options are not even available on the cargo van."
Value Ranked 2018 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT LWB FWD with Rear Cargo Doors better.
"The passenger van has options and features not available with the cargo van. As stated before, attempting to custom fit seats, windows and interior trim to a cargo van would cost more than the passenger van. You would still not have the option of power seats or upgraded wheels. "
Would Buy Ranked 2018 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT LWB FWD with Rear Cargo Doors better.
"For cargo application the cargo doors provide more versatility."
