    Excellent vehicle, best in class by far. Owned 2 GTIs and was never disappointed. Handled great in all weather conditions, cheap to own, nice power to it when you need it, and never felt cramped (even at 64).

    I have driven the Mazda3 2.5L and it comes nowhere near the GTI in terms of design, acceleration and handling. The Mazda3 does better in slow traffic, but its less comfortable. The GTI comes with an adjustable armrest and sport seats that hug you. MPG is much better in the Mazda3, however, especially in the city.
