It was what we were looking for but the lumber support was in the wrong place for my husband. I think we would have purchased it except for that.

Wonderful car, but overloaded with frivolous technology. Low ground clearance.

2017 Honda Fit LX Review
I had a 2008 Honda Fit Sport and was so impressed by the reliability and durability, I traded it in on a new one.
vs2015 FIAT 500 Sport
2017 Honda Fit LX winning categories:
  • Power
  • Handling
  • Looks/Style
  • Front Seats
  • Back Seats
  • Cargo Capacity
  • Family Car
  • Value
  • Would Buy
Power Ranked 2015 FIAT 500 Sport worse.
"On paper, the Honda has more horsepower. Both engines are excellent. The real test is when you have the AC on. The Honda gets up to speed easier. The Fiat you have to to work a little more. Switching the Fiat into Sport mode helps, but makes the car a little harder to drive in traffic."
Handling Ranked 2015 FIAT 500 Sport worse.
"Yes. They both handle well and can be nimble and quick, but the Fit rides better."
Looks/Style Ranked 2015 FIAT 500 Sport worse.
"Two different styles, really. The Fiat is retro and somewhat rare, the Honda is modern and youll come across many of them every day. But when you factor in form versus function, the Fit is amazingly functional. The Fiats form makes it more of a 2+dog. "
Front Seats Ranked 2015 FIAT 500 Sport worse.
"The Fiat seating position is a bit odd, not bad, but different. The seats are comfortable in both, but the Fiat seats seem thicker, a little too big for the small interior."
Back Seats Ranked 2015 FIAT 500 Sport worse.
"No comparison. The Fiat is 2+dog. "
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2015 FIAT 500 Sport worse.
"Obviously the Fit is a larger car overall, but the tricks you can do with the rear seats make all the difference. The Fiat rear seats dont fall completely flat."
Family Car Ranked 2015 FIAT 500 Sport worse.
"The Fit is a like mini-minivan. No comparison."
Value Ranked 2015 FIAT 500 Sport worse.
"Everything. Its that simple. The Fiats retro design sometimes gets in the way. Hondas hold their value better as well. I was surprised by the high trade-in value of my old Honda Fit. The dealer sold it the next day."
Would Buy Ranked 2015 FIAT 500 Sport worse.
"Easy to service anywhere, legendary reliability, excellent resale value. Normally I prefer a stick shift, but Hondas CVT is so good I dont mind. Its a great driving car. Another plus, with the cost of gas going up, the Fit runs on Regular. The Fiat prefers Premium."
