Solid features and great looks from all angles at an affordable price point. I cant ask for much more than that. Smaller than competitors but it also drives smaller than competitors.

The car is a great dependable vehicle, with very little issues. The only downfalls are the cost associated with basic maintenance parts such as sparkplugs, windshilds, and drivetrain oil. I like to do my own services and after purchasing this car I was shocked at the dealer cost for parts and the low aftermarket parts availability for shocks and such. We are currently at about 160,000kms on our 2016 signature. And on our 3rd windshild at about 1500 a replacement.

The car in particular I test rode seemed decent, good features, comparable to a more expensive mitsubishi outlander, however the dealership experience did ultimately change my perspective of the vehicle decreasing the value and overall shopping experience.

It was fun to drive, very sporty, does not feel like you are driving a 3 row suv at all. Don’t let the 4 cylinder engine stop you unless you plan on towing, has very good acceleration for an suv this size. If you need three rows and don’t want the usual boring options in this class the XX-9 is a great option. Interior is really nice and well designed. Only downside is roof rails are not standard. Passenger space is roomy, even the third row has adequate room for adults on short trips but there is not much space for luggage if you have more than 4 people in this car, so a family of five is going to need a roof box or trailer hitch accessory for extra cargo on road trips.

Car has great safety features. And the car is a great value especially for maintenance and up keep. If I had to pick something to improve on is I think the Navigation screen should be bigger and i wish it had a panoramic sunroof but thats me just being picky.

Great SUV . Wife loves the room and luxury feel of vehicle. The 4 cylinder engine with 250hp and 310 torque rating is surprisingly powerful!

"For the money the CX9 is larger than the Rav4, with the aforementioned 3rd row passenger/cargo space. Leather hearted seats, extra safety features "
