2014 Scion tCReview

Car was in great condition overall, there was some leftover adhesive from where it had been tinted that probably should have been removed but it was a very small amount, the people I dealt with were 5/5. Everyone was helpful and answered all my questions. There was no pressure or hidden fees, everything was on the level. |

Great Car! — I loved this car! it was fun and looked very good. Everything works great and it is so much fun to drive. The gas milage was not bad at all and it was super comfortable to drive and ride in. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Gas, bluetooth, GPS, fast, roomy for a 2 door car. Cons: 2 door |

Wait And Get One Slightly Used! — Overall I really like my car. It has a ton of room inside (front/back and hatch area) for a 4 banger sports coupe. The lights are quite cool looking and have gotten complements quite often. Looks even better once you add the rear fog light! (ONLY available after market, but the housing is already there!) The wheels are quite appealing too. I frequently get asked if my tC is stock lol. I guess in a sense it is. I had the fog lamp kit, TRD lowering springs, TRD cold air, Flowmaster exhaust (really close to the TRD size, just sounded better IMO), rear fog light, cargo cover (pretty cheaply made as I have already warrantied one and might be on the second soon), and door visors (GREATLY reduced wind noise and drag in the cabin, also when the sun roof is open!). But as for the car stock? I like it a lot! Don't quite love it but, that's just me! It does get (after I lowered, cold air, exhaust and door visors) between 31-33 MPG avg. on the highway. Sometimes 34 weather and road permitting lol. The ride was good at first but way too bouncy IMO! The TRD lowering springs fixed a majority of that, IMO and that of friends. I personally would wait and get one slightly used to save a few K. They tend to hold value until 25k miles. Is also has for only having 180hp stock, quite a decent amount of acceleration. Cold air, k&n, springs and exhaust made it a little more spunky and better sounding lol. I do suggest getting those things done! ;) Also going to add the strut tower brace to help with the handling a bit. As with all my reviews, ANY questions or comments please feel free to ask! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Sporty look, Projection headlamps, Led tail lights, 7in touch screen w/Bluetooth, very roomy and spacious for a 2 L/B coupe. Sunroof AND rear moon roof. Driver cockpit type set up. Huge amount of cargo space, especially with the seats in the rear folded down. Full grown adults can sit in the rear with leg room. (I'm 6ft) Cons: Handling especially on the highway can be a bit bouncy, also cornering could use an improvement too. Does not have a constant power source. Blind spots! with no indicators... CHEAP interior. |
