Really Good Car To Have And To Drive. — Out of 3 cars that I had, this is my favorite one. The performance is amazing, especially when you accelerate. It looks nice, so when you come to an event people notice the car. The gas on the car is pretty good for a sports car. Also installed a AEM Cold Air-intake, so it gives it a nice pur to car when you drive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's a lot of fun to drive daily.just taking out with your friends is fun. Had no problems with it. Just the usually oil change and maintaince.

Cons: There is not a lot of trunk space or room in the back, its little tight for bigger people.

Good Buy — I love this car. It has a lot of features like navigation, ability to start from your phone, remote access, and sporty seats. The interior has a nice leather and is a well built car. The trunk opening is tiny so it is hard to carry somethings though.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Options, Navigation, Handling, Power

Cons: No trunk space, small back seats

Great Performance Auto For The Money — Looked at all the American Cars, Camero, Mustang, and Challenger. Wasn't looking for monster horse power cars, just a nice ride for cruising down the highway. Found the Genesis by accident. Once I took it for a drive I was hooked. It easily will match any 6 cyl. car in it's class. The four cyl. 2.0 liter Turbo is super. Great performance and a lot of creature comforts for the buck. Built in Garmin style navigation is really top notch and can be upgraded every couple of years. Sound system is nice and voice operated features work well. Overall, hard to beat. Go drive one and you will be hooked too...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great sleek looks, great front seats, fit and finish, performance

Cons: BlueLink remote service is a waste of money

Fast, Fun, And Easy To Learn — This is my dads car that I have driven on occasion. It is incredibly fun and sporty with tons of power and grip. The manual transmission is a little tricky at first but once you get you to the close ratio racing styled set up it is a fantastically fun car to drive!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fast, sporty, sexy

Cons: Tiny "back seat"

Michael says:
Decent power, around 5.2 second 0-60 mph. Decent interior with somewhat usable rear seats if either the rear passenger isnt too tall or the trip is short. Seats are comfortable.

Handling Ranked 2014 Scion FR-S Monogram worse.
"The FR-S has a better aftermarket, but the cost to make it perform better than the Genesis Coupe, you could basically buy 2 Genesis Coupes."
Would Buy Ranked 2014 Scion FR-S Monogram worse.
"Its faster in a straight line, its faster around a track. It sounds better."

2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Review

Really liked the car. A LOT of car for the money. Never had any kind of trouble. It was a beautiful car, had a great stereo, really nice steering wheel, good looking & good quality exterior, good infotainment system. And with 348 HP & 295 ft/lbs of torque, it had plenty of get up & go. And it was easy to kick the tail out & maintain control. It felt like the car was practically designed for drifting. The only real downsides were the leather seats were not particularly comfortable and the automatic transmission was, well, an automatic transmission. The only reason I sold it after 4 years & 40,000 Miles was that I had felt too disconnected from the driving experience, so I went looking for a great driver’s car and found it in the BMW M2. But the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a great deal of car, performance & value for the money.

Front Seats Ranked 2017 BMW M2 RWD better.
"The M2’s seats are simply far more comfortable. The Genesis Coupe’s seat remained rather stiff for 4 years. Also, the M2’s seats are also more adjustable in more ways."
Back Seats Ranked 2017 BMW M2 RWD better.
"There’s an actual usable amount of room in the M2’s back seats. Considerably more legroom & headroom than in the Genesis Coupe."

Great car power is there when u need, in my opinion it doesn’t feel fast but it goes when i look down at my speed. Wish it had memory seat since my girlfriend loves to drive it and its a pain to adjust it.

Power Ranked 2008 Acura TL FWD with Navigation worse.
"The genesis coupe has 274hp while i believe the tl only had 250hp both are still fast but my butt dyno chose the genesis."
